The Wanted came from School tours to being one of the biggest boybands in the UK, all on their own with the only help of radios and Jayne, they’re number twelve in America, got their song starred in Glee, been on Ellen, Chelsea Lately and Ryan Seacrast now tell me, how the hell does that not deserve a Brit?
One Direction got fame handed to them on a plate from X Factor which may I add, they didn’t win, yes they’ve had number one and everything but they didn’t work towards it, you may say ‘but, they worked hard on the X Factor’ but, everyone was seeing their hard work, noticed, The Wanted’s work wasn’t noticed that easily.
I just don’t see how getting fame straight away, starting with 100,000’s fans straight away could possibly deserve a Brit?
The Wanted started from 1 follower to 200,000-400,000 on Twitter and they have millions of fans that adore them over the world.
If The Wanted don’t deserve a Brit, no one does because I’m pretty sure that’s award able, and what they do for fans is pronominal, what celebrity account gets into Twitter jail from tweeting their fans for an hour or two, non-stop.
They follow, tweet and make fans so happy it’s unbelievable. The Wanted tweet jokes, stupid things, clever things we have to look up in the Uber Dictionary, and not once did they beg for votes in the Brits, they let the public decide for themselves if they deserve it the most but obviously, One Direction did beg and people voted for them the most as it is a popularity contest not a music one any more and this is the thing I hate.
And, don’t get me wrong, I love One Direction but I didn’t think they deserved it as much as the other acts and The Wanted did and I feel like we’ve let them down in a way for not trying hard enough when I know we did, it’s just me, maybe.
Just my opinion ok?
But, congratulations One Direction. xxx
OMG THIS SO FREAKING MUCH!!!
